Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) is happy to announce that Aberdeen International Airport will be showcasing their new super fire fighting vehicle at the inaugural Wheels 2013 event this Sunday.

Aberdeen International Airport will bring along the latest addition to their fire vehicle fleet. The £700, 000 Rosenbauer Panther was most recently seen as a star in the latest Transformers movie. The six-wheel drive vehicle carries 10, 000 litres of water at speeds of up to 80mph and all the fire fighting equipment can be remotely controlled from within the fire-resistant cab.

Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director commented: “We are delighted that Aberdeen International Airport is bringing along the Rosenbauer Panther to Wheels 2013 on Sunday. This impressive vehicle will provide a huge attraction to the public, drawing in interest from both adults and children.”

Wheels 2013 will take place on Sunday 21st April from 10am – 4pm at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. Exhibitors will showcase an array of wheeled vehicles including motorbikes, cycles, cars, Segways and quads, providing demonstrations and trials. There will also be a dedicated display area where bikers will be able to park to show off their bikes to fellow enthusiasts.
