Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) is pleased to announce that iconic British band Wet Wet Wet will return to the GE Oil & Gas Arena on Sunday 13th March 2016.
The legendary group is no strangers to the North East and were the first ever act to perform at AECC back in 1990 and return to the stage as part of their 17-date ‘The Big Picture Tour’.
The 2016 Tour coincides with the 20th anniversary of the no.1 album ‘Picture This’ which included the well-known hits ‘Julia Says’ and ‘Love is all Around’ and the gig is set to showcase some new material along with other well-known hits.
The group have sold more than 15 million records and had more than 30 UK chart hits including three number ones and since coming to prominence in 1987 they have played to more than five million fans across the globe.
Lead singer Marti Pellow said “When we play together it always reminds me how great this band is and how proud I am of the armory of songs we’ve built up. We love to see the fans enjoying what we do on stage and we’re all looking forward to being on the road again”
