The Final Eight Acts Take to the Road on The X Factor 2014 Live Tour


Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) look forward to welcoming The X Factor Live Tour when it returns to the GE Oil & Gas Arena on Sunday 2nd March, 2014 as part of the popular annual UK and Ireland Tour.

You’ve followed your favourite act from their first audition, seen them make it through the dreaded chairs at Bootcamp and triumph at Judges’ Houses. You’ve watched them as they have been transformed in the live studio shows. Now you have the chance to see your favourite X Factor acts live in person in Aberdeen at the GE Oil & Gas Arena!


The top eight acts taking to the stage in 2014 are: Abi Alton, Sam Bailey, Hannah Barrett, Sam Callahan, Rough Copy, Tamera Foster, Luke Friend and Nicholas McDonald.  They were given the news that they’d all be taking part in the tour by Simon Cowell via Skype.


The overjoyed eight said of the news:

Abi Alton: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be on the Tour. So many of my dreams have already come true on this show but to perform to big audiences really is one of my biggest ambitions realised. From small pub gigs to this is just unreal.”

Hannah Barrett: “I can’t wait for the Tour, to perform for the fans, to being doing music every day and sharing the experience with all the other contestants who have become like my family, is just a dream come true.”

The X Factor Live Tour has been one of the biggest selling Arena tours in the UK for the last nine years, with more than three million people seeing the live show to date. The 2014 Tour will visit all the major cities across the nation from Aberdeen to Dublin with contestants performing classic songs and viewer’s favourites from the TV series.
