Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) are delighted to announce that Scotland’s own Kevin Bridges will be filling Aberdeen with laughter next October 9th and 10th, as he plays the AECC’s Press and Journal Arena as part of his Autumn 2012 tour.
Following the huge success of his sell-out 2010 UK & Ireland tour, twenty-five year
old comedian Kevin Bridges, who hails from Clydebank, returns to the road in the Autumn of 2012 with a brand new show called the ‘The Story Continues…’.
After making his debut on BBC 1’s ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’ in 2009
he has gone onto host shows such as the Bafta nominated ‘Live At The Apollo’ and Channel 4’s ‘Stand-Up For The Week’. His new six-part BBC 1 series – ‘Kevin Bridges What’s The Story’ will be transmitted in February, 2012 and a new DVD – ‘Kevin Bridges The Story Continues…’ will be recorded in October 2012 at the SECC in Glasgow and released in November 2012.
AECC’s Managing Director, Brian Horsburgh, says, “It is great to add a Scottish act to
our comedy line up in October 2012 which is already looking strong with John Bishop performing for two nights later that month. We are delighted to have some home-grown Scottish acts at the venue, including The View and Twin Atlantic who will be performing at Hogmanay’s Granite Rocks!”
Tickets for the show are on general sale from Friday the 25th November at 9am priced at £30.00 plus booking fee and are available from Ticketmaster on 08444 77 9000 or online at www.ticketmaster.co.uk. The show is suitable for aged 15+ (at parents discretion), under 14s must be seated and accompanied by an adult (18+).
