One of Britain’s most popular sporting events, PDC Premier League Darts, will be returning to Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre’s (AECC’s) Press & Journal Arena on Thursday 7th April 2011.
“This event always proves to be a major hit with North East darts fans; it gives them a fantastic opportunity to see their favourite players up close and performing at their best. The demand for tickets for 2010 was huge and I expect the 2011 event to be the same” says Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director.
Eight stars of the PDC will compete in Premier League Darts, facing each other twice over the course of 14 league nights before the top four players compete in the play-offs at Wembley Arena on Thursday 19th May 2011.
The Premier League Dartsat AECC in 2010 was a great crowd pleaser when Raymond van Barneveld hit a sensational nine-darter against Terry Jenkins. The last match of the competition saw reigning champion James Wade defeated in an historic final by Phil Taylor, who became the first player in history to hit two nine-dart finishes in the same match as he claimed a fifth Premier League Darts title.
Tickets cost £30 plus booking fee for table seats and £20 plus booking fee for tiered seating and go on general sale Monday 11th October 2010. There will be a maximum of six table seats per customer.Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
