Meetings industry contributes £58.4 billion to UK GDP

The UK meetings industry delivers £58.4bn of UK’s gross domestic product (GDP) – three times more than the agriculture industry, according to the results of the UK Economic Impact Study (UKEIS).
It also generates more than one million full-time equivalent jobs, and makes a direct gross value added (GVA) contribution of £20.6bn to UK coffers – more than the legal services, accountancy or broadcasting sectors.
