British band, McFly will play their first arena tour ‘Above the Noise’ in two years at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre’s (AECC) Press and Journal Arena on Friday 25th March 2011.
Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director says, “McFly proved a major hit with the North East audience when they appeared at AECC in 2008. With Christmas coming up we expect there to be great demand for tickets.”
Fresh from five sold-out intimate UK dates in October which previewed the band’s album ‘Above The Noise’, McFly return to what they know: playing to huge audiences in sold-out arenas. Having recently conquered colossal venues around the world, McFly are excited to return and showcase their infectious and soulful electro-pop sound to venues across the UK.
This November saw the release of McFly’s fifth studio album ‘Above The Noise’, and another Top 5 single ‘Shine A Light’ with UK hitmaker Taio Cruz. With a fan base that now stretches around the world and having recently entered a joint venture with their original major label home, McFly have succeeded beyond their own expectations.
