Kevin Bridges continues to have the North-east in knots with his ‘A Whole Different Story’ tour following a consecutive six-night stint at AECC with three more nights to follow in November.
The 28-year-old Glaswegian took to the stage of the GE Oil & Gas Arena on the first of his nights on 7th October and had the crowd roaring from the offset.
As one of Scotland’s biggest comedy exports, Kevin Bridges has been dubbed “brilliant” by one of his comedy idols, Billy Connolly and has had an astonishing rise to success. His 2012 tour, ‘The Story Continues…’, smashed box office records by selling a staggering 45, 000 tickets on the first day. Kevin went on to sell-out an incredible 11 shows in Scotland including two nights at the GE Oil & Gas Arena before an epic 136-date tour.
‘A Whole Different Story’ proves Bridges is the master of observational comedy with increased sophistication than his 2012 tour. Still focusing on subject matters such as parties and school life, Bridges took a deep dive into more serious matters such as politics, Greek philosophers and conceptual artist, Diego Rivera.
Proving he is a top stand up, Bridges is just as funny when he is improvising with responding to audience tweets during his ‘Ask Kevin’ encore segment after each show.
We can’t wait to have Kev-I-N back in November!
