Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) were proud this week to present two members of staff with Long Service Awards, each celebrating 20 years of outstanding service.
The Venue, which was established in 1985, has a high level of staff retention and are proud to be able to recognise this loyalty with staff presentations at the annual all staff meeting.
Awards were given to Head Chef, Mr Steve Irvine, who joined AECC on 1st November 1993 and Operations Support, Mr George Robertson, who joined the Company on 5th January 1994.
Brian Horsburgh, Managing Director of AECC said: “It is great to be able to celebrate the hard-work, dedication, commitment and loyalty shown to the Company over this time. In a world where a job for life is no longer the norm we are grateful to have such great levels of loyalty among our workforce such as that displayed by both Steve and George who have been with AECC for 20 years!”
