Irish comedian Ed Byrne has announced today that his new British Arena tour ‘Crowd Pleaser’.

Irish comedian Ed Byrne has announced today that his new British Arena tour ‘Crowd Pleaser’ will include a night at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre’s (AECC’s) Press & Journal Arena on Friday 29th April 2011.

“It is great news to confirm that Ed Byrne will be appearing at AECC next year. We announced that Lee Evans will be appearing here earlier this week so it clearly shows that Aberdeen and the AECC is a ‘must have’ on the arena comedy circuit. The line up for 2011 is getting stronger and stronger, ” said Brian Horsburgh AECC’s Managing Director.

Known for his observational comedy Ed Byrne, the star of Mock The Week and Have I Got News For You, is back with his new show ‘Crowd Pleaser’. Exploring subjects and situations Ed finds frustratingly maddening, ‘Crowd Pleaser’ is billed as a hilarious insight into Ed’s life. Continuing his quest to turn into a grumpy old man, whether he is talking about his cat, cake, religion or potential fatherhood, Ed is always certain to deliver laughs in abundance.

Tickets for Ed Byrne’s ‘Crowd Pleaser’ tour go on sale at 9am on Saturday 16th October. Tickets cost £20 plus booking fee and are available from Ticketmaster on 08444 77 9000 or online at www.ticketmaster.co.uk. The show is suitable for 16+ (parental guidance advised).
