Frankie Boyle adding AECC to National Tour

Controversial Scottish comedian Frankie Boyle, has extended his 2010 tour ‘I Would Happily Punch Every One of You in the Face’to include a night at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre’s (AECC’s) Press & Journal Arena on Wednesday 8th December 2010.

Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director said, “Frankie Boyle is one of the most in demand comedians right now so we are delighted to hear he is including Aberdeen in his tour. He sold out very quickly last time he was in the city and I am sure tickets will be in high demand again.”

Frankie is best known for his stand up performances as well as his appearances on a variety of TV shows such as ‘Mock the Week’ and ‘8 out of 10 Cats’, ‘Live at the Apollo’ and ‘Would I Lie to You’. Frankie is currently recording his own series, ‘Frankie Boyle’s Tramadol Nights’, for Channel 4 which will be broadcasted in November 2010.

His last tour, ‘Frankie Boyle Live’sold over 125, 000 tickets and played to packed houses across the country. The DVD recording of the show was one of the biggest selling comedy DVDs of 2008, selling over 750, 000 copies to date.
