As we approach the end of the year, Team AECC are embarking upon a journey to fly the flag for AECC and Aberdeen in Scotland, England, Europe and America as part of the #RoadtoAberdeen campaign.
This week, Sales Manager Charlotte Garvie is travelling to St Andrews to take part in VisitScotland’s Meet in Scotland event; showcasing Aberdeen as a world-class destination to the specially selected UK and European MICE market buyers who will be in attendance.
Mid-October focuses on entertainment, with the AECC team heading to London to attend the Comedy International Conference and the LIVE UK Summit, attended by key agents, managers and promoters.
Later this month, Sales Manager Steven Daun, heads to Las Vegas to spread the word to the American market at IMEX America. The show, dubbed ‘the pulse of the meetings industry’, allows AECC to get in front of key buyers and share the news of the exciting developments taking place in Aberdeen.
November will herald the arrival of the #AberdeenInvasion in London; with events at the historic Royal College of Surgeons and the stunning Bulgari Hotel. The focus of the invasion is to communicate the latest advances in Aberdeen, including the exciting news of the new AECC development, and of course gives us a chance to catch up with old and new faces!
IBTM World takes place later that month; with Sales Manager Jill Malcolmson heading to Barcelona to exhibit at the leading exhibition for the global meetings, incentives, conferences and events industry, with over 4, 000 hosted global senior level meeting and event planners under one roof.
These events are a vital tool in the ongoing promotion of Aberdeen, AECC and the new AECC development; attracting business for both the short and long term, by a first class team dedicated to delivering world class service.
