Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) are very pleased to announce that the third Digital Futures Conference will be taking place at AECC on 23rd, 24th and 25th October 2012.
Digital Futures 2012: the Third Annual Digital Economy All Hands Conference is a UK Digital Association conference, being brought to Aberdeen following successful conferences in Nottingham in 2010 and Dundee in 2011.
Digital Futures 2012 will be the third annual conference for this relatively new Association. This event has seen excellent growth each year and is expected to attract around 300 of the UK’s leading academics in this field, in addition to key industry people from prestigious companies such as Apple and Microsoft.
This two and a half day event which will be held on 23rd to 25th October 2012 will consist of a main session with breakout discussions, alongside a trade exhibition and poster session and will highlight some of the latest technologies in the industry.
Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director, commented: “This is an exciting and innovative conference which we are very much looking forward to welcoming to the Centre. To have companies such as Apple and Microsoft giving recognition to Aberdeen as a place for digital innovation is outstanding for the City.”
