Caring for our Community

Charity and Community are at the heart of AECC and with strong teamwork and commitment from staff, £5, 270.75 has been raised in aid of chosen charity, Friends of ANCHOR (FoA) this year alone by many fundraising efforts including the AECC Tower Open Day, ANCHOR Wipeout and the AECC Bake Off.

In addition to the concentrated efforts for our chosen charity we have also supported other charity and social causes:

Last month we were awarded recognition by Developing the Young Workforce North East Scotland (DWYNES) for inspiring work with schools and third parties in the region which includes:

Partnering with Roadwise Driver Training, a business owned by of Aberdeen Foyer, to help promote and improve safe driving practices in the North-East of Scotland.  We provide an off-road area for the training courses which includes an Introduction to Driving for Under 17s and scope for learner drivers to develop their manoeuvrability skills. The space is also used for trailer towing candidates to practice reversing manoeuvres.
