Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) is excited to announce that Brian McFadden will be supporting Ronan Keating when he plays the Venue in the new year. Brian McFadden, Ronan’s good friend and fellow Irish-Aussie is about to release his new album ‘The Irish Connection’- an apt name for this Tour!
Due for worldwide release on November 2nd 2012 this album features Brian’s recording some of his favourite tracks with some of his favourite artists; including of course, Ronan. As Brian says; “We had a deal I sang on his album, he sings on mine, Ronan heard the entire album and actually chose to duet on U2’s “All I Want is You”. McFadden feels it was the perfect way to finish off the album. Other tracks on the album include covers of Cranberries, Snow Patrol, Van Morrison, Mary Black and Damian Rice
The album was recorded both in Sydney and Dublin and has been produced by McFadden and his long time co-producer Robert Conley. McFadden says: “I actually enjoyed every moment of making this album – it brought back a life time of memories for me”.
“My favourite thing to do is perform” says Brian and states, “I haven’t toured the UK for over six years”.
Brian Horsburgh, Managing Director of the AECC said: “Having Brian McFadden as support for the Ronan Keating ‘Fires’ concert next year is really giving fans value for money. To have the pair performing at the AECC Arena will be a great treat for their fans.”
2013 is already shaping to be a fantastic year, with performances from Plan B, Example, the X-Factor, The Script, Jessie J, Olly Murs and Eddie Izzard currently on-sale!
