Boost in Entertainment for North-East

Over the past month, Team AECC have announced some huge entertainment shows.


Things kicked off with the announcement of Blink-182. Fresh from the success of their number one album “California”, the punk-pop favourites confirmed a huge UK tour in July 2017 and will be stopping off in Aberdeen on Wednesday 12th July.

On his biggest tour to date, Olly will perform 20 outdoor dates across the UK and heads to Aberdeen on Friday 21st July 2017 where Olly will perform to 16, 000 fans in a specially constructed arena outdoors on the AECC site, a similar set up to the 2015 Elton John concert.

Due to popular demand, it was announced mid-November that Little Mix would be returning to AECC for two nights on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th October 2017. Since forming in 2011, the band have established themselves as one of Britian’s brightest pop acts and performed two Aberdeen shows in April this year which sold out in ten minutes, they show no sign of slowing down!

It was announced this weekend that Aberdonian, Emeli Sandé will be embarking on a UK and Ireland tour in October 2017 kicking off on home turf at AECC’s GE Oil & Gas Arena on Saturday 14th October 2017. The tour follows the release of Emeli’s hugely acclaimed second studio album “Long Live The Angels” released last month and will see her perform at the venue for the very first time.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 9th December.
