Harlem-Globetrotters-date-Eflyer

The world famous Harlem Globetrotters, featuring some of the most thrilling athletes on the planet, will bring their spectacular show to Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre’s (AECC) GE Oil & Gas Arena on Wednesday 5th April 2017 to kick off the UK leg of their 2017 World Tour.

The famed team will feature a star-studded lineup that includes Big Easy Lofton, Ant Atkinson, Hi-Lite Bruton, Thunder Law, Bull Bullard and Cheese Chisholm – plus female stars TNT Lister and Ace Jackson. Every game in the Globetrotters one-of-a-kind show will showcase incredible ball handling wizardry, rim-rattling dunks, trick shots, hilarious comedy and unequaled fan interaction.

This year, the Harlem Globetrotters celebrated 90 years during which they visited Aberdeen’s St Machar Academy to do a workshop with some of the St Machar Academy pupils and players from Aberdeen’s premier basketball team, Grampian Flyers to raise awareness of their ABCs (Action, Bravery and Compassion) of Bulling Prevention campaign whilst showcasing their basketball tips and tricks to improve their skills.

Senior Sales Manager at AECC, Anna Mackenzie commented: “This will be the fifth time in six years that the basketball stars have slam dunked their way back to Aberdeen. The Harlem Globetrotters are icons in the basketball world and are loved by so many people of all ages. The talent on the team is outstanding so we can’t wait to see what the stars have in store for us this time around.”

Upgrade your ticket to include an exclusive ‘Magic Pass’ which will feature a 30 minute pre-show event with the stars, autograph and photo opportunity and a designated check-in with the on-site staff.

A very limited amount of ‘Bench Experience’ packages are available for the event where you will have the opportunity to sit courtside, on the bench with the players for the full match plus the chance to mingle backstage with the players where you can pose for some photos and spend some time with the players.

Tickets are now on sale via www.ticketmaster.co.uk/AECC or 08444 77 9000.
