Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) are pleased to welcome the second Scotland’s Best Outdoors Exhibition which will return to the GE Oil & Gas Arena on the weekend of 29th – 30th March 2014.
Scotland’s Best Outdoors celebrates the great outdoors and the range of activities it creates, be it in our own back garden, enjoying the natural wildlife or kite-surfing off the Aberdeen coast. This exhibition has something for everyone from the relaxed to the more adventurous.
Specialist company, ‘Only in Scotland’, who are based in Banff, are bringing this great event to the North-east of Scotland for the second year in a row, to spread awareness of the great things there is to discover in our region.
There will be many specialist attractions at the 2014 event including Transition Extreme, a world class extreme sports facility based in Aberdeen, who will be building a 40m x 16m skate/bmx park in the Arena and providing free coaching sessions throughout the day, interspersed with stunt performances for visitors by the coaches and guests as well as a climbing wall to test out climbing skills.
Morag Thomas, Event Organiser, said: “The Scotland’s Best Outdoors inaugural event was a hit with visitors and exhibitors alike and we were overwhelmed by the positive feedback received. Of course there are always things to learn from, especially with it being our first show, so 2014 promises to be bigger and better with that experience under our belt.”
Managing Director of AECC, Brian Horsburgh commented: “We are looking forward to welcoming Scotland’s Best Outdoors show back to the GE Oil & Gas Arena. It is wonderful to showcase the great things to see and do and opportunities for outdoor pursuits available, quite literally, on our doorstep!.”
Tickets are available in advance from Ticketmaster on 08444 77 9000 or online at www.ticketmaster.co.uk and will also be available to purchase on the door.
