The Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) is delighted to announce that they will be the venue for another three major international conferences in 2012.
All three conferences will be held in September 2012 and are great conference wins for AECC and the City of Aberdeen. They are: The European Optical Society Annual Symposium 2012; The World Heavy Oil Congress 2012, and The Society of Core Analysts Symposium 2012.
As the National Energy Exhibition Centre, AECC is a world-class conference, exhibition and event venue located within the energy city of Aberdeen and is ideally positioned to offer visitors a unique experience.
Great energy events such as these are an integral link to Aberdeen’s growing energy industry and this announcement follows hot on the heels of the All-Energy exhibition which was held at AECC on the 18-19th May and has seen major growth since its first appearance in 2001.
Brian Horsburgh, Managing Director, says “The news about all three of these societies choosing AECC as their venue for such major events, reinforces that we are the venue of choice for housing such important international conferences. Following on from the very successful All-Energy conference this month, and with Offshore Europe taking place again this September, AECC continues to be the centre for energy events in the UK!”
He adds, “These events were secured as joint bids with Aberdeen Convention Bureau and with support from Aberdeen City Council.”
