Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) are pleased to announce the appointment of Jacqueline Bergstrom as PCO Executive in the Professional Conference Organisation team at the venue. Jacqueline will also manage the International Congress and Convention Association UK and Ireland Chapter (ICCA) secretariat role.
As a Professional Conference Organiser, Jacqueline will be part of the team at AECC who work with local academics, scientists and conference committees, organising and running conferences both in-house at AECC and at external venues. As Secretariat for the UK and Ireland Chapter ICCA, which is the local Chapter of the global membership group who focus on association and conference business within venues throughout the world, Jacqueline brings multicultural flair to this international role, being fluent in English, Swedish, German and French.
Jacqueline, who is originally from Sweden, comes to Aberdeen from Geneva to take on this position, bringing with her a wealth of experience from the hospitality industry. As a Communication Studies graduate from the University of San Francisco Jacqueline has spent time working for Hyatt Hotels in the San Francisco area, more recently working for the clinical research organisation, Outcome Europe in Switzerland.
