AECC Announce Final Band for Aberdeen’s Hogmanay Gig!

Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) are thrilled to announce the final band in the line-up bill for the ‘Granite Rocks’ gig at the venue this New Year’s Eve.

Twin Atlantic, an Alternative Rock band from Glasgow, whose second album, entitled “Free”, charted at number five in the UK Rock Album Chart earlier this year, join White Lies and The View playing this Hogmanay.

The fantastic line-up of live music showcases the talents of international bands and local bands (The Little Kicks and The Tijuana Sun) – we are sure the AECC will be rocking!

Granite Rocks runs from 6.30pm this Hogmanay and is to be held indoors at AECC’s Press & Journal Arena on Saturday 31st December 2011!

This event is the first of its kind for Hogmanay in Aberdeen and provides a great opportunity for people to get together to celebrate New Year in a warm environment with great music!

Brian Horsburgh,  Managing Director at AECC says, “The full line-up for Granite Rocks has now been announced and we are delighted with the response we’ve had to this event so far!  We wanted to give the North-East an event to remember for Hogmanay and we think that this is it!”

What better way to bring in the New Year than with thousands of other music fans in Aberdeen’s favourite music venue?  The event kicks off at 6.30pm with live acts playing until after midnight!
