The Exhibition Team from Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) have just returned from spending last week in Glasgow, undertaking stand builds at the RenewableUK show at Glasgow’s SECC.
Lynne Reilly, who was promoted to AECC’s Trainee Exhibtion Co-ordinator at the start of September, travelled to Glasgow for her first off-site stand-build, along with colleagues Alistair MacLeod (Exhibition Technician) and Fraser Young (Senior Exhibition Coordinator).
The team regularly travel to locations, as far and wide as Kuala Lumpar and spent a month in Norway building and overseeing stands at the ONS Show in September this year.
The stand at RenewablesUK was built by AECC for 3sun, who specialise in providing control and instrumentation products and services to the oil and gas industries along with specialist equipment for inspection capabilities. This is the third AECC stand built for 3sun, previous builds being for All-Energy at AECC and also Global Offshore Wind in London last month.
RenewablesUK ran from 30th October to the 1st November, featuring nearly 300 companies exhibiting developments in the UK wind, wave and tidal sector.
Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director says: “The off-site stand build service is a significant part of AECC’s business, yet one that it is perhaps lesser known for. The Exhibition Team are a close team of professionals who are specialists in this area and are regularly building stands all over the world.”
