Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) are preparing to exhibit at IMEX America next week as part of the Visit Aberdeen presence. AECC will attend along with VisitScotland and fifteen other Scottish partners showcasing Scotland to the Professional Meeting and Incentive industry. IMEX America will be held in Las Vegas next week from 9th – 11th October 2012.
Visitors to the VisitScotland stand will have the opportunity to witness traditional Scottish entertainment while learning more about one of the leading international meeting, incentive and convention destinations. From ancient lore to modern celebrity news, Scotland continues to be one of the world’s most intriguing destinations for North American meetings, incentive and conventions. The creativity of Scotland’s meeting planners with the ingenuity of its Destination Management Companies streamlines the process for planners as they seek to deliver memorable programs.
With over 400 events and around 300, 000 people coming through the Venue each year to attend a wide variety of conferences, meetings and events, the team at AECC aim to ensure that everyone has a memorable time in Aberdeen: an accessible global hub and the Energy Capital of Europe: Blending new technology with a breadth of Scotland’s natural awe-inspiring wonder.

Whilst in Las Vegas, AECC will also be attending the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Global Professionals Conference which runs from the 11th – 12th October. Overlapping with IMEX America, PCMA will bring 90 global meeting professionals based in USA together with key international supplier, this is the second time the Conference has taken place and the second time that AECC have attended.
