Scotland’s famous twins, the Proclaimers will be performing in front of 6,400 fans at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) as part of their recently announced tour, on Saturday 7th November 2009.

Managing Director Brian Horsburgh says, “It is great to have such a well known Scottish group coming back to AECC. They were last here in November 2007 and wowed a sell out crowd, so I am sure the fans will be happy to see them again.”

They are best known for the songs Letter from America, I'm On My Way, and I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles). In Scotland they sold more gig tickets than any other single act in 2007.

In March 2007 they topped the UK singles chart with a rousing new rendition of their classic anthem I'm Going to Be (500 Miles), a collaboration with comedians Peter Kay and Matt Lucas for Comic Relief, raising over a million pounds in the process. In 2002 they relaunched their Best Of collection,
re-entering the Album Charts at No 5 with sales soaring beyond platinum.
