Skiing & Walking

Skiing
Two of Scotland’s five ski areas can be found in the Aberdeen and Grampian Highlands and offer excellent skiing, snowboarding and cross-country facilities.

Located just 65 miles from Aberdeen, the renowned Glenshee ski area is Scotland’s most extensive with more than 25 miles (40km) of downhill runs and grounds at the summit of the highest public road in the UK.

Visitors may also want to take a trip to The Lecht ski centre, which is only 56 miles West of Aberdeen and known for its friendly family centre and beginner snowboard school.
