British comedian Russell Howard will be taking his arena tour to Aberdeen this December. Stand-up dynamo Russell brings his brand new “Big Rooms & Belly Laughs” arena tour at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) on Friday 18th December 2009.

AECC Managing Director, Brian Horsburgh says “It is great to hear we have another comedian coming to AECC. Michael McIntyre’s tour this October sold out quickly and I am sure this will be as popular.”
Russell is best known for starring in the top-rated BBC shows Mock The Week and Live at the Apollo.  His show in Aberdeen will be the 8th date on a 10 date arena tour this autumn which will coincide with his DVD release and follow the next series of Mock The Week.

Last year on his twice-extended Dingledodies tour, Russell played to in excess of 125,000 people and his debut stand-up DVD Russell Howard Live - was one of the best selling stand-up DVDs of 2008.  This year Russell will embark on a full arena tour bringing his stand-up whirlwind to Aberdeen.
