Irish singer Ronan Keating has announced he will be touring the UK in 2010, the tour will include a stop at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre’s (AECC’s) Press and Journal Arena on Wednesday 24th February.

In 2007 Ronan got back together with his chart-topping band Boyzone and in 2008 the band conquered the charts again and had a sell-out arena tour which included a night at the AECC.

To date Ronan has released five solo albums, four of which went straight to number one in the UK. Ronan's last solo album 'Songs for My Mother' was released in March 2009 in memory of his late mother Marie Keating.

Ronan is listed in the Guinness Book Of Records for being the only artist ever to have 30 consecutive top 10 singles in the UK chart, having beat the likes of Elvis. With two sell-out world tours under his belt, an Ivor Novello and BMI songwriting awards, an autobiography, a role as ambassador for Christian Aid and sales in excess of 22 million albums across the globe, Ronan’s lengthy and triumphant career shows no signs of slowing down just yet.

Multi award-winning South African singer-songwriter and guitarist Arno Carstens has been announced as special guest on Ronan Keating’s forthcoming UK tour.

Arno says: “I couldn’t pass up the chance to perform on tour with Ronan. He is such a fantastic performer and his fans are amongst the best in the world. To tour around the country with him will be another great experience.
