Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) is located immediately adjacent to the A90 trunk road in Bridge of Don and is 3 miles from the city centre. Click here to view Aberdeen Location Map
AECC is only a ten minute taxi ride from Aberdeen train station and a short taxi journey to AECC from the city centre will cost approximately £10-£15. This is an estimation, please check with specific taxi companies regarding pricing.
AECC is located on the Red line and Pink line bus routes and can be accessed by the regular number 1, 2 and 13 bus services. The number 40 Park and Ride service also operates from Bridge of Don. Special delegate bus passes can be obtained by event organisers at reduced rates. First Bus Route Map
AECC will now be charging for parking at concerts, shows and sporting events only. The ‘Pay & Display’ system will cost event goers £4 per car and £9 per coach. Ticket machines will be situated at various locations in car parks 4, 5 and 6 surrounding the Press & Journal Arena. The ticket machines will accept all methods of payment including all major credit and debit cards and cash in the forms of notes and coins. The machines will also give change and provide a receipt if required.
Tickets must be purchased on arrival at the venue and clearly displayed inside vehicles. During events wardens will be patrolling the car parks and will issue fines where valid parking tickets are not displayed. Fines will also be issued to cars parking in restricted areas or parking in a disabled bay without the appropriate blue badge. This new service will be operated by Local Car Parking Services Limited.
