A welcome for everyone

Accessibility
Our main conference building has automatic doors at the entrance with a low-level push pad suitable for wheelchair users. Arena entrances have wide main entry doors, which a steward will be pleased to open for you. All halls in the main building are at ground level, and the upper levels are all accessible by lifts.

Parking
If you’re a ‘blue badge' holder, please use the designated parking spaces nearest the venue, unless otherwise directed by a parking steward. All our car parks have designated blue badge spaces, and there are lots of them. However, they’re available on a first come, first served basis: please use a normal parking space if they’re full.

Elevators
There are several elevators throughout the AECC.

Induction loops
We have a permanent induction loop for the hard of hearing in our Forbes room; portable induction loops are available for all other areas. Main reception also has a permanent induction loop system.

Toilets
We provide wheelchair accessible and disabled toilets throughout the venue.

Concerts/Shows  - Attitude is Everything

Improves deaf and disabled people's access to live music by working in partnership with audiences, artists and the music industry to implement a UK-wide Charter of Best Practice.
Attitude is Everything was set up in response to disabled people's complaints of unfair treatment at music venues, clubs and festivals. Artsline realised that the music industry was not aware of their obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act and the project was set up to work positively with the industry to raise awareness.

AECC supports and has joined the Charter of Best Practice, and is working towards a chartered award.

Wheelchair Platform/Seating Areas
We provide designated areas for disabled persons and wheelchair users at all live concerts and shows.

At seated shows this is in the front row of the arena and for standing shows the viewing platform is at the rear of the arena, next to mixer desk
Please book in advance for both areas.

Ticketmaster – Accessible Seating
Our venue is fully accessible. Please call the Ticketmaster Accessible Seating line on 0844 847 1655 for further information.
