Once a humble Publican, the multi-award winning Al Murray – The Pub Landlord has risen to the honourable position of British comedy royalty, following the continuing success of his hit prime time ITV1 show Happy Hour and a second Audience with Al Murray The Pub Landlord (ITV1).

The Guv’nor will be travelling to the four corners of our green and pleasant land to raise a glass with you, the beautiful British public, on his Beautiful British Tour.  The Landlord will be merrily musing over a heady brew of topics, as he attempts to put the Great back into Great Britain.

The shaming finger of shame will be pointed at you, if you miss what promises to be the must see stand-up comedy event of 2009.

Important concert information

AccessManager

AECC has recently launched AccessManager in partnership with Ticketmaster. This is a new system whereby all ticket holders will have their tickets scanned before entering the venue, rather than have their ticket stumps torn off. The new scanners have many benefits including a much quicker entry to the venue for ticket holders as well as helping to deter counterfeiters. The system will require ticket holders to work with the AECC in utilizing both East and West entrances to ensure a quicker and safer entrance to the Arena.

For seated events;
If you hold a ticket for seating block W1, W2, W3, S4, S5, C4 or C5 - Enter via the West Entrance
If you hold a ticket for seating block E1, E2, E3, S1, S2, S3, C1, C2, C3 - Enter via the East Entrance
For standing events;
Tickets printed with GA1, GA2 & GA3 - Enter via West Entrance
Tickets printed with GA4, GA5, GA6, GA7, GA8 - Enter via East Entrance

All wheelchair/carer ticket holders should enter via the West Entrance.

Box Office Ticket Collection is at the West Entrance. AECC reserve the right to change the entry point.

If you're going to a gig at the AECC, fancy having a drink and then need to get into the city centre afterwards, then this service is perfect for you.
Catch the Gig 'n' Go service adjacent to the East Entrance at 11pm after an event at the AECC.
Flat fare of £2.00 applies.
