ABBA-The Show

‘ABBA -The Show’ is to visit the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) as part of its latest tour. The show will entertain a 4,500 strong crowd in the AECC’s Press and Journal Arena on Friday, 17 October 2008.

“This will be a wonderful night of entertainment for ticketholders and a rare chance to see something which is so close to the real thing”, says Brian Horsburgh, Acting Managing Director, AECC. “It should be fantastic news for all the ABBA fans in the area, young and old”.

‘ABBA – The Show’ will be performed by Sweden’s Waterloo, a world renowned group who bring ABBA to life, together with The National Symphony Orchestra of London. The show described as “Absolutely the best ABBA since ABBA” even features a saxophonist and guitarist from the original ABBA backing band. It has achieved success around the globe, including a sell-out performance at the famous Hollywood Bowl, while the 2007 premiere at the Royal Albert Hall received rave reviews.
